Set on 420 acres in Muscatine, IA, the Louisa Generating Station was constructed in service of MidAmerican Energy Company’s goal to provide energy for countless citizens in the Midwest. Contributing to two-thirds of the state’s energy production, the architect specified lightweight Versapanel insulated metal panels to bundle energy efficiency into a sleek, attractive aesthetic.
