Children’s South, the latest addition to the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh network, was designed to convey a positive visitor and patient experience. The exterior design incorporates Formawall Dimension Series insulated metal panels in multiple colors to create a sense of subtle movement with small, integrated windows set low to the floor to provide niches for children to engage with the outdoors. The unique facility has already become a definitive community landmark in Bridgeville, PA.
